  10. Thanks for your interest in DavisWARE!

  12. If you would like to become a Distribution Site for  our  products,  simply
  13. read this text file, fill out the information below, and upload to our Home
  14. BBS - The Programmer's Mega-Source, at (516) 737-4637.
  15.  
  16. After your application has been processed, you will be informed as  to  the
  17. possibility  of  your  board  becoming a distribution site for DavisWARE by
  18. private message on The Programmer's Mega-Source BBS, so be  sure  to  leave
  19. your name in the Application!
  20.  
  21. If your Board is approved as a Distribution Site for DavisWARE, we ask that
  22. you make the following additions to your board:
  23.  
  24.     1. Maintain a separate DavisWARE file directory.
  25.  
  26.     2. Have all current DavisWARE files.
  27.  
  28.     3. Call DavisWARE's home board -  The  Programmer's  Mega-Source  -  at
  29.        least  once  every  30 days to d/l all the new DavisWARE files since
  30.        your last call, or d/l DAVISW.ZIP, which will have all  current  ZIP
  31.        files stored in one large file for downloading.
  32.  
  33.     4. Maintain  a DavisWARE  bulletin in your bulletin menu, to be updated
  34.        whenever new files are added to your board.   We  will  provide  you
  35.        with text for a sample bulletin, but feel free to make your own!
  36.  
  37.     5. Create  an  account  in  the name of JAMES  DAVIS for access to your
  38.        Files Areas.  (Enter the password for this Account below.)
  39.  
  40.     6. All GOLD-Sites will be required to run a specialized door  on  their
  41.        system  for  their  user's  so  they may purchase DavisWARE via your
  42.        system.  Complete instructions will be included when it is completed.
  43.  
  44. All DavisWARE products will contain a standardized FILE_ID.DIZ for  your
  45. convenience.
  46.  
  47. Please  do  not  alter the contents of any DavisWARE archive, or change any
  48. DavisWARE product filename.

  51. Some of the benefits of being a DavisWARE distribution site include:
  52.  
  53.     1. Your  board  will  be  listed  on  DavisWARE's  home  board  under
  54.        the bulletin that shows our Distribution sites!
  55.  
  56.     2. Your board will receive increased calls from people wanting to d/l
  57.        the LATEST in DavisWARE products!
  58.  
  59.     3. Often  times,  your board  will have  the  latest DavisWARE products
  60.        BEFORE they are released nationally, because pre-releases  from  our
  61.        BBS  could  be  available  up  to two weeks before they are released
  62.        nationally!

  64.     4. For every 5 DavisWARE products you sell for  us,  you'll  receive  a
  65.        FREE  registration  to  any  one  of the DavisWARE line of programs.

  120. Programmer's  Mega-Source  BBS,  normally  within  24  hours.  When you
  121. upload this application, make sure that you name it using the following
  122. convention:
  123.                                  APPxxxx.yyy
  124.  
  125. Where "xxxx" is the last 4 digits of your BBS phone number, and "yyy" is
  126. the area code of your BBS phone number. When you upload the application,
  127. do not ZIP or archive the file.   Make it a private  upload by placing a
  128. "/" in front  of the  description  you  give the file  before  uploading
  129. (please be  descriptive  when giving  the file a  description  or it may
  130. be ignored).  Again, thank you for your interest in DavisWARE!
